A 180-seat Cultural Center has been put into operation in the village of Karasai, Kordai district.
The opening ceremony was attended by akim of the district Begzat Bolatbekov, deputies of the district maslikhat, elders and villagers.
– We hope that the social facility will serve for the benefit of the people and the House of Culture in the village of Karasai will become a center of spiritual development, - said the akim of the district.
The facility was built as part of the Auyl-El Besigi program. There is an assembly hall, a library, an IT room, and vocal and dance clubs.
- Modern infrastructure for creative self-realization and leisure activities of the population is being created in the villages. I hope that national values will be revived and promoted in the new House of Culture," said Zhumabek Tokayev, aksakal of the village.
This year, 5 cultural houses and a museum have been commissioned in Zhambyl region. Two more facilities will be commissioned by the end of the year. This year, 17 cultural facilities have been renovated.
By the end of the year, the level of provision of the population with cultural infrastructure will reach 84.8% (2023 - 82.0%).
