Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov met with President of John Deere in the CIS and Central Asia Chaba Leiko. The event was held as part of the strengthening of international cooperation and the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
The parties discussed the prospects for the introduction of modern technologies in the agricultural sector of the region. Special attention was paid to the supply of high-tech agricultural machinery, the introduction of digital solutions to increase productivity and sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
Marat Akhmetzhanov stressed that Akmola region has high potential in the agricultural sector, and the use of innovative technologies will be an important step to increase the competitiveness of the region.
"Cooperation with the world leader in the field of agricultural machinery production, such as John Deere, opens up new horizons for our region. We are ready for a productive dialogue and joint work," the head of the region said.
Chaba Leiko, in turn, expressed John Deere's willingness to support the development of agriculture in Kazakhstan and shared his experience of successful projects in other countries.
"We appreciate the opportunity to work with such a promising region as the Akmola region. Our goal is to provide farmers with reliable tools and technologies that will help them reach new heights," said Ch. Leuco.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare for joint work aimed at implementing projects in the field of digitalization and modernization of agriculture.
