The presentation of the project "Abai Zholy", published with the support of akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev, was held in the Abai region. As part of the first series of the collection, 16 books were released with a total circulation of 8 thousand copies. This year, the works of 20 authors have been published, with a total circulation of 10,000 copies.
The project is aimed at developing the culture and literature of Kazakhstan, popularizing the heritage of outstanding personalities and poets-writers of the Semey region, as well as fostering patriotism among young people through fiction. The book collection includes works by poets, writers and artists of the Semey region, covering various literary genres. Readers interested in reading books will be able to find and read these books in the libraries of the region, and the digital version in the electronic library of KazNEB.
"Abai, the greatest thinker, said: "All knowledge is in books, don't be lazy, read." These words remain an eternal guide for future generations. The Abai Zholy project is a significant step in preserving the heritage of poets and writers of our region in order to pass on their works to the younger generation. May valuable books find their readers and serve as a source of inspiration!" said Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev in his congratulatory speech.
The Council for the evaluation and publication of the works of poets and writers of the region is headed by honorary citizen of the region Abai, professor of Shakarim University, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Knight of the Order of Parasat Arap Espenbetov.
This year, within the framework of this project, books by our compatriots A. Sharipov "Korgenim, kunge tuygenim", R. Nurgali "Kazak adebiyatin altyn gasyry", K. Zhumadilov's novel "Tagdyr", B. Isabaev "Ulylar mekeni", B. Tilegenov "Kara zhel", A. Espenbetov "Abaydy oky, tanyrkan..." and others. In total, the Foliant publishing house in Astana has released 20 works by writers with a circulation of 500 copies each (10,000 copies in total). The project itself is designed for five years.
At the event, the theater artists presented literary and artistic performances dedicated to the authors of books and their works.
