Despite the heavy snowfall, the municipal services of the capital continue to work in an enhanced round-the-clock mode. Snow removal is carried out smoothly, the official website of the city akimat reports.
On December 21, utilities transported more than 34,000 cubic meters of snow from the capital on 2,833 flights.
During the night shift from December 21 to December 22, 343 road workers and 1,264 units of special equipment are involved in snow removal work.
In total, since the beginning of the winter period, almost 1.3 million cubic meters of snow have been transported from the city by 102,654 flights to landfills.
According to the rules, first of all, areas with very heavy traffic are cleared in the city so that there is no congestion on the roads. Areas with moderate intensity are also being cleared of snow — squares, station areas, sidewalks, access roads to social facilities, etc.
Cleaning on central streets, passenger transport routes, bus stops and sidewalks is a priority.
There are several equipped snow training grounds in the capital. They are equipped with a system for reading the license plates of dump trucks, video surveillance cameras are installed here, and lighting is connected.
We ask residents and guests of the capital to be careful on the roads, observe safety regulations, and refrain from long-distance travel in case of a storm warning.
In case of an emergency, please call 112.
