The Karaganda branch of Kazvodkhoz has completed major repairs of the concrete slopes of the Samarkand reservoir. Applying a special high-pressure compound will increase the safety and reliability of the facility, as well as provide flood protection. In addition, the branch cleared the reservoir bowl of silt, reeds and shrubs.
