A new winter public space has appeared in the Nura district of the capital. Its grand opening was held the day before, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
The new recreation area for the whole family is located in the area of the residential complex "Green Quarter". An ice rink, snow slides and other winter activities are waiting for Astana residents in the public space.
"BI Group and the Akimat of the Nura district have officially opened Bucharest Park, the very first winter town located in this area. There is an ice rink, a slide, and a stunning seven-meter Christmas tree. The park itself is decorated with New Year's decor. We invite all residents and guests of the capital to visit the public space," said Bauyrzhan Salykov, BI Group representative and project manager.
The organizers paid special attention to creating a festive atmosphere: visitors were warmly welcomed by fairy–tale characters - the Grinch, Green Santa, Snow Maiden, elves and bunnies. A rich entertainment program was prepared for the young guests. The artists performed dance and theatrical performances.
"As residents of the Nura district, we are very pleased that a new public space with a skating rink, slide and a festive tree has appeared. Winter activities are especially pleasing to our children. I think we'll spend more time outdoors now. Many thanks to the akimat of the district for landscaping the area near our houses. Now we don't have to go anywhere far away - in just five minutes from home we can walk to a new public space and have fun with the whole family," Aydana, a resident of the district, shared her impressions.
During the holidays, Astana residents will be able to gather here with family and friends to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and have fun.
It should be noted that 170 courtyards and public spaces have been landscaped in Astana this year. The works covered all areas of the city.
Also, on December 18, a solemn ceremony of lighting over 30 festive Christmas trees was held in the capital. More than 15,000 people took part in the event.
