Ice hockey: The national team of Kazakhstan became the winner of the Asian Ice Hockey Championship, which was held in Almaty for the first time. In the final, held at the Halyk Arena, Kazakhstani hockey players won a landslide victory over the Japanese national team with a score of 5:1.

Table tennis: Zhania Bekmukhambetova took third place at the WTT Youth Contender Lignano 2024 international tournament in Italy among players under 13 years old. Another Kazakhstani athlete, Alan Kurmangaliyev, became the bronze medalist of the WTT Youth Contender Szombathely 2024 tournament in Hungary.
