Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev wrote about this on his official pages on social networks. The photo exhibition shows sincere respect and gratitude to teachers who make an immeasurable contribution to the development of our country.
"The work of a teacher is the foundation of the country's development, the core of the upbringing of generations. Every teacher in our country should learn from these individuals who set a high example of professionalism and honesty. Being a teacher is not only about educating, but also about laying the foundation for the future of the country, educating the generation, inspiring, and sowing the seeds of morality," the minister said in his note.
In the history of our country, the names of nine teachers who were awarded the highest state award, the title of Hero of Labor, are known. Among them are Heroes of Socialist Labor Zhakiya Shayzhunisov, Kudys Absametov, Rafika Nurtazina, Marzhan Tasova.
In 2008, academician Ayagul Mirazova was recognized as worthy of this title, and in 2018 it was awarded to Alina Solovyova, a biology teacher at A.S. Pushkin School-Gymnasium No. 1 in Shymkent.
Five years later, on October 5, 2023, Abay teacher Alma Shukizhanova was awarded. In 2024, for the first time in the history of our independent country, the Head of State awarded two school teachers with the title of "Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan" and the Order of "Otan" at once. They are Gulzhanar Nurpeisova, a mathematics teacher at special boarding school No. 4 in Almaty, and Elmara Traisova, a teacher at school-gymnasium No. 34 in Uralsk.
