Kazakhstan will export 80 thousand tons of wheat to Georgia in 2025. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov.

We have started working with the state of Georgia. In 2023, we did not export either wheat or meat to that country. In 2024, we normalized relations with them and exported wheat and beef. According to the results of last year, exports amounted to $71 million. Work on the export of wheat and meat will continue this year, the minister told media representatives after the talks between the heads of government of Kazakhstan and Georgia.

According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, this year the price of wheat is lower than last year. Therefore, subsidies will be paid for logistics in both countries.

We have agreed to export 80 thousand tons of wheat to Georgia this year. Their annual consumption needs are 80-100 thousand tons. As for meat, we are ready to supply as much as they demand, - said Aidarbek Saparov.

Let us recall that earlier we wrote about how much Georgian investors have invested in the country's economy over the past 20 years.

Also, the volume of cargo transportation between Kazakhstan and Georgia via the Trans-Caspian international transport route increased by 62 percent last year.
