As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is actively working to attract foreign companies engaged in the development of water-saving technologies to our country.
In particular, Kazakh Invest national Together with the company, two Turkish and one Chinese company are implementing three projects to launch the production of sprinkler irrigation machines in Kazakhstan.
In addition, this year it is planned to open two factories for the production of drip irrigation equipment in the Turkestan region together with Chinese companies.
Today, four domestic factories producing water-saving technologies operate in Kazakhstan. This is a factory producing sprinkler irrigation machines in the city of Astana, two factories producing drip irrigation equipment in the Turkestan region and Almaty, and one enterprise producing both types of water-saving systems in the Turkestan region.
“At a recent expanded meeting of the government, the Head of State once again emphasized the importance of attracting foreign technologies and investments in the water sector of Kazakhstan. Today, our ministry is creating all the necessary conditions in the form of subsidies to encourage farmers to switch to modern water-saving technologies. "These measures made it possible to introduce water-saving systems on 158 thousand hectares of arable land last year," noted Berikbol Mandibayev, Director of the Department for the Development of Water-Saving Technologies of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
