Askhat Shakharov noted the importance of developing roadside services and creating new tourist facilities to attract travelers. In particular, he noted that agro- and eco-tourism, medical tourism are becoming increasingly popular among tourists who are looking not only for rest, but also for recreation or natural attractions. As the head of the region noted, this industry opens up opportunities for the development of infrastructure and the creation of new jobs in this area.
According to the head of the Entrepreneurship Department, Almas Salykbayev, there are 118 roadside services, 3 sanatoriums, 8 specially protected natural areas in Aktobe region, including the Irgiz-Torgai State Nature Reserve. The region also has 859 historical and cultural monuments of republican and local significance.
Today, one of the most attractive tourist facilities is the Kaskyr waterfall, the Kok Zhailau recreation center, and the Zaru pantoterrarium. According to Almas Salykbayev, investment projects can be implemented there. First, it is necessary to solve a number of problematic issues. They concern the repair of roads, the installation of cellular base stations, and the improvement of the territories adjacent to the facilities.
"These places can become not only tourist facilities, but also resort areas of the region, attracting a large influx of tourists. However, the lack of infrastructure restricts the work of tourist facilities. Entrepreneurs are ready to build glamping sites, organize boating and hiking. Improving the infrastructure, in turn, will create favorable conditions for tourists and increase the competitiveness of the region in the tourism market," Almas Salykbayev noted.
He also announced that it is planned to build 21 campsites in the region within three years. This year, the Hilton Hotel is planned to be commissioned in Aktobe. Currently, the construction of a 4-5-star hotel in the Altyn Orda microdistrict and a Visit Center on the territory of the Kargaly reservoir is being considered.
"We need to consider allocating subsidies to stimulate the development of tourism and provide comprehensive support to investors. Proper development of infrastructure, the creation of new tourist facilities and support for entrepreneurs will help not only attract tourists, but also significantly improve the economic situation in the region. This will create new jobs, increase the income of local residents and ensure sustainable economic growth," the regional akim said.
The head of the region also instructed to develop a project for building a road and installing a mobile communication tower in the Kaskyr Waterfall area.
"We need to support the development of tourism in the region. For this, building a road and installing a mobile communication tower in the Kaskyr Waterfall area is important.
