An athlete from Akmola region, Konstantin Bortsov, added another medal to the national team's basket in the sprint competition at the Asian Winter Games.

Let us recall that at the IX Asian Winter Games in Harbin (China), Akmola short track athletes Denis Nikisha, Khan Yana, Mersaid Zhaksybayev and Olga Tikhonova won silver in the 2000-meter medley relay.
