In the region, in addition to eco-campaigns, round tables, traditional Sabbaths, and other events, charity events are also being organized within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” program.
Today, on February 5, a charity event was held in Taldykorgan to help lonely and elderly people within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” program. During the event, work was carried out to clear yards, house entrances, and driveways from snow. Volunteers from students and youth took part in the event.
Head of the “Meiirmidzi-Zhetysu” volunteer front office, Shyrai Samatovna: “A Sabbath was organized within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign, and we completely cleared the yard of snow to make it easier for the elderly to move around. This good deed is a manifestation of support for veterans. The elderly, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and said that such care increases kindness in society,” she says.
One of the pensioners who received assistance, Sofia Faizrakhmanovna Gvozdikova: “This is a big help for me. It's not easy for me to clean the yard, but today volunteers came and put everything in order. May there be many more such good deeds! ", - he said, expressing gratitude.
In the Zhetysu region, since April 8, 2024, all planned events have been actively held within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, in total more than 252 thousand people participated in the clean-up and eco-actions.
Since the start of the implementation of this large-scale eco-project, a total of 2,322 units of equipment have been mobilized in the region, 12,822 tons of garbage have been removed, 193 parks and squares, 721 historical and cultural monuments have been cleaned, and more than 56 thousand coniferous and hardwood seedlings have been planted.
The "Clean Kazakhstan" republican environmental program has been actively organized in the Zhetysu region and has received great support from the population.
