Today, February 11, for the first time, new, modern and comfortable buses began operating on the Aktau-Zhanaozen-Aktau route and connecting the villages of the Mangystau region with the district center - the village of Shetpe. The first flight departed from Aktau at 09:00 in the morning.
The head of the region specially attended the opening ceremony of the new routes and handed over the keys to 20 buses. According to the akim of the region, currently the bus fleet in the Mangystau region has been updated by 90%, and in the city of Aktau by 100%.
- Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev focuses on improving the well-being of the population. One of them is the issue of public transport. This program began in the Mangystau region in 2020 and is already bearing fruit today. Residents of the region can travel to the city of Zhanaozen and on intra-district routes on spacious and comfortable tourist buses. Buses with affordable fares and high quality of service were created for the benefit of the people. In the future, this work will continue, - said Nurdaulet Kilybay.
On the route "Aktau-Zhanaozen-Aktau" "Yutong" brand, 51-seater, large-class buses are provided with all the necessary conditions for passengers. The buses are equipped with a sanitary facility (toilet), ventilation and a TV for passengers to spend a comfortable time on the road.
Starting from February 12, 6 buses will depart daily at 07:00 from the city of Aktau - from the parking lot near the "Sary Bazaar" in the 31st microdistrict, and from the city of Zhanaozen - from the "Ozen" trading house on the territory of the "Zhibek Zholy" market. The fare for adults is 750 tenge, for children aged 7-18 years old - 375 tenge.
And for passenger transportation connecting the village of Shetpe, the center of the Mangystau region, with the villages, comfortable 24-seater buses of the "Yutong" brand have been allocated.
Now residents can travel within the village of Shetpe and on the routes Shetpe-Kyzan-Akshmyrau, Shetpe-Tushchykuduk-Shebir, Shetpe-Ondy, Shetpe-Ushtagan, Shetpe-Shair, Shetpe-Zharmysh, Shetpe-Sayotes, Shetpe-Tushchybek-Zhyngyldy. A total of 14 buses will serve passengers.
It should be noted that the new buses were purchased with the financial support of the Industrial Development Fund JSC.
