POLITICS NURBEK: SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL SESSIONS - A NEW FORMAT OF INTERACTION BETWEEN SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY
A scientific and technological session entitled "Modern leaching methods and prospects for their application in the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan" has begun on the basis of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhmys Corporation and brought together leading scientists, experts and industry representatives to discuss advanced technologies in the field of hydrometallurgy.
The program included plenary sessions, reports by Kazakhstani and foreign specialists, as well as discussions aimed at finding innovative solutions. During the session, the prospects for underground and surface leaching methods for copper ores, issues of commercialization of scientific developments and ways of their introduction into production were considered. Particular attention was paid to the interaction of science and business.
The session was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the Akim of Karaganda region Yermaganbet Bolekpayev. The Minister noted that scientific and technological sessions are a new format of interaction between science and industry.
- Today in Karaganda, a very important event is taking place, the eighth scientific and technological session, which is held in partnership with large enterprises. We are completely changing the model of financing science and implementing the scientific and technological policy of Kazakhstan as a whole. Now our scientists, representatives of research institutes and universities are visiting large enterprises. The main goal is to identify specific problems of production. Why are these sessions important, we have launched a new format of interaction between science and industry. Industry, large corporations have become convinced of the effectiveness of science in Kazakhstan. We have good examples. Our goal is to bring large manufacturing companies to a new technological level, to increase their contribution to the economy in the field of science and production, - said Sayasat Nurbek.
An exhibition of scientific projects implemented in production processes was organized as part of the hackathon.
Over two days, participants will present their scientific reports, share their experience in implementing modern technologies, and develop solutions based on applied research.
At the end of the scientific and technological session, prototypes and project solutions in the areas of the hackathon will be presented.
