The Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Kazakhmys Corporation signed a memorandum
Today, February 11, within the framework of the scientific and technological session "Modern leaching methods and prospects for their application in the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan", the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhmys Corporation signed a memorandum on strategic partnership.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the Science Committee Galymzhan Zhankuatov and the Director for Sustainable Development of the Kazakhmys Corporation Saken Shayakhmetov.

The goal of the cooperation is to strengthen scientific and industrial cooperation, develop modern technological solutions and increase the competitiveness of domestic production.

The partnership plans to conduct joint applied research, hold scientific and technological sessions, as well as interact with research institutes and universities.

This step is aimed at supporting applied science in Kazakhstan and finding scientific solutions to current technological problems.
