Currently, there are more than 2.3 million livestock in the region, of which about 500 thousand are cattle, 1.6 million. heads of small cattle, and more than 200 thousand horses. All of them are registered in the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals". In general, much attention is paid to the veterinary sector in the region. For example, over the past two and a half years, 49 veterinary points and 1 veterinary station have been built in the region. This year, 20 more such facilities are planned to be built. In addition, digitalization is being widely introduced and used in this sector, - reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.
According to the regional veterinary department, in the process of digitizing veterinary processes, the "VetLab" and "ISZH-Mobile" modules for diagnosing highly dangerous diseases, which are included in the iszh.gov.kz web portal of the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals", are widely used in the region. Similarly, all 34,763 livestock owners registered in the identification database in the region are now fully using the “TortTulik” mobile application.
In this regard, special attention is being paid to strengthening the material and technical base to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of veterinary specialists. For example, since the establishment of the region, 45 special vehicles, 217 computers, as well as 238 tablets have been purchased.
- Now, after the launch of the “ISZH-Mobile” mobile application of the agricultural animal identification database, tablets have been purchased and delivered to veterinarians. Working with a tablet has significantly simplified and accelerated our work. The work done during visits to large farms and private yards, i.e., registration of livestock, preventive measures, vaccinations, is immediately entered into the database using a tablet. Even in places without Internet access, the data entered on the tablet is automatically sent to the appropriate database immediately in places with Internet access, - says Aigerim Bekbosynova, a veterinarian at the Taldykorgan city veterinary station with veterinary stations, who has been working in this field for almost thirteen years.
In addition, the Department of Digital Technologies of the Zhetysu region has included anthrax burial grounds and cattle burial grounds and veterinary stations in the electronic map of the "Zhetysu region Situation Center". Currently, based on the conclusions of the interdepartmental commission, sanitary protection zones of cattle burial grounds are being included in the electronic map.
