As of February 1, 2025 According to the state labor inspectors, more than 1.1 thousand employees at 16 enterprises of the republic had arrears of wages in the amount of 318.2 million tenge. At the same time, 499 violations of labor rights were identified during inspections conducted at various organizations.
240 mandatory orders were issued to the heads of enterprises with arrears of wages and fines were imposed in the amount of more than 24.3 million tenge.
As a result of the measures taken, including the establishment of strict schedules and deadlines for the payment of arrears of wages, the rights of 890 employees were protected. They were paid 81.3 million tenge.
In addition, the issues of ensuring state control over compliance with labor legislation are under the special control of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of February 1, 2025, state labor inspectors conducted 389 inspections, during which 499 violations were identified, including: in the labor sphere - 466; in labor safety and labor protection - 31; on employment of the population – 2.
As a result of the measures taken, the labor rights of 3.8 thousand workers were protected.
