The "Zhas sakshy" class of secondary school No. 16 named after T. Aibergenov in Astana got acquainted with the activities of the iKomek 109 center, the official website of the capital's akimat reported.
At the event, organized as part of the Year of Working Professions, 6th grade students saw with their own eyes how the iKOMEK109 center contributes to maintaining peace in the city and received extensive information about its role.
According to the organizers, students often visit the center.
"The students saw the work of operators who are online 24/7, and the activities of video surveillance operators who participate in ensuring the safety of residents through prompt response. "Most importantly, I believe that we were able to convey to students how each citizen can make a significant contribution to their environment, the place where they live, and the development of their country through social responsibility," said Askar Taksymov, head of the iKomek 109 "City Monitoring and Rapid Response Center" of the Astana City Administration.
The students, who got to know the busy life of the center, which receives an average of 6 thousand calls from city residents per day, seem to understand the importance of social responsibility.
And this, in turn, will allow the younger generation to consciously approach the issues of maintaining order and ensuring security.
