In the parking lot at the Saltanat Saraya building, responsible specialists checked the readiness of emergency response services for emergencies in the region, the press service of the akim of the region reports.
The traditional meeting was attended by Akim of the region Serik Shapkenov, who personally visited emergency rescue facilities, where he got acquainted with inventory and special equipment.
In order to inform about the metrological situation in the city of Atyrau and in all districts of the region, a siren sounded at 11:00 a.m., an operational headquarters of the exercises was established in the Department of Emergency Situations. Currently, events are being organized on the signal "Dabyl-1001", "Kargyn-2002", "Uzilsiz-3003".
In total, 252 personnel and 131 pieces of equipment are involved in the exercises. By the winter season, 281 units of necessary special equipment and 14,968 tons of inert material have been prepared in the region.
The practical part of the exercises will be held on November 22 on the territory of the KGP "Su Arnasy Atyrau region" and along the highway of republican significance "Atyrau-Uralsk".
Participants of the two-day exercises at life support facilities in winter will undergo special tactical exercises to eliminate an emergency situation. An algorithm for planning and organizing an operational rescue service and rapid response will also be worked out.
