Today, on November 21, the republican command and staff exercises "Winter-2024" began in Aktau. Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai took part in a drill demonstration, got acquainted with the readiness of government bodies and forces of the state civil protection system to prevent and eliminate emergencies in winter.
The exercises, which will be held on November 21-22, involve 1002 personnel, 337 pieces of equipment and special equipment. In addition, 2,925 tons of salt and 4,604 cubic meters of sand were harvested.
Fuel, food, medicines, electric and diesel generators, heat guns, sand-gravel and salt mixtures were prepared for rapid response to emergencies that may arise in winter.
152 units of equipment and 398 people have been mobilized to maintain roads of regional and republican significance.
During the drill, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai stressed the importance of maintaining the readiness of the civil protection service and equipment for any emergency situations. He also stated that the joint work of the bodies responsible for ensuring the safety of the population is necessary.
