The national team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations participates for the second day in the final of the World Cup in hand-to-hand combat "Cup of the Minister of Defense", which takes place at the Zh. Ushkempirov sports complex in Astana.
Our athletes competed in the weight category from 48 to +70 kg in the disciplines of "Duel", "Self-defense" and "Self-defense 1+1".
So, Talshyn Zhumabayeva became the champion of the world Cup in hand-to-hand combat in the absolute weight category. The bronze medalists in the discipline "Self-defense" were Sagynysh Asylbekova and Maria Chebotareva.
Emilia Larionova in the 53 kg weight category and Aruzhan Berkinbayeva in the +70 kg weight category continue to participate in the final tournament.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as part of the national team of the departmental sports club "Batyr team" successfully represent the Ministry at international tournaments today.
