The event, organized at the Academic Kazakh Drama Theater named after Makhambet, was attended by akim of the region Serik Shapkenov, contemporaries and relatives of the poetess, the press service of the akim of the region reports.
The evening was opened with a theatrical musical and poetic multimedia production "Fariza - rukh zhanartauy". Further, the head of the region Serik Shapkenov read out a congratulatory letter from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his speech.
– Fariza Ongarsynova is a writer who has made a great contribution to the development of national culture. She left her unique mark in Kazakh literature. She was awarded great national love and named the queen of Kazakh poetry. The works of the poetess, who became a symbol of perseverance, perseverance, and courageous character, were distinguished by their waywardness. With her incomparable creations, she glorified the noble qualities of a person, managed to vividly describe the high personality of a Kazakh woman, her role in society. The works and life of Fariza Ongarsynova will be an example for many generations. It is our common duty to keep her name in the memory of the people. I believe that the rich legacy left by the master of the word will be deeply studied and widely popularized in the future," the congratulatory letter says.
The solemn event was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mereke Kulkenov, prominent literary critic, statesman and public figure, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sautbek Abdrakhmanuly, poet, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize and the international literary award "Alash" Akushtap Baktygereva, poet, laureate of the State Prize named after Abai Svetkali Nurzhan, famous statesman and public figure Irak Elekeev, poet, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Elena Abdikhalykova, as well as famous Kazakh poets Onaigul Turzhan, Zhanat Askerbekkyzy, Tanagoz Ilyasova and Marzhan Ershu.
The evening featured songs written to the words of the Queen of Poetry. A thematic banner dedicated to the life and work of Fariza Ongarsynova was installed in the foyer of the theater. In addition, there are exhibitions organized by the regional scientific and Universal library named after G. Slanov and the regional Museum of Local Lore.
