THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROWING CANAL IN TURKESTAN CONTINUES

The construction of an international-level rowing canal continues in Turkestan. Akim of the region Darkhan Satybaldy visited this facility and supervised the construction progress. Responsible heads of departments are instructed to perform their work efficiently.
- This is a large-scale project. The work must be done efficiently. It is necessary to spend funds effectively and hand over the facility where international competitions will be held on time," Darkhan Satybaldy said.
The total area of the Rowing Canal is about 100 hectares, the water capacity is 2 million cubic meters. The first stage of the project has been completed. Today, work is underway on the third stage. The grandstand and the tower are now concreted. The facade of the sports complex is being painted and the facility is being improved. 75 people and 15 pieces of equipment were involved in the work. There are 800 thousand cubic meters of water in the canal.
