An action "Give a book" was held in Saryagash madrasah College of Turkestan region. The event was attended by Deputy akim of Saryagash district Aldiyar Kozybayev, head of the department of the regional universal library "FARAB" Dana Tazhenova, head of the regional department for Religious Affairs Rustem Sabyrzhanov, representative of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan in Turkestan region Yerzhan Tolepov and director of Saryagash madrasah College Dinmukhamed Smanov. The participants emphasized the importance of the action.
Within the framework of the event organized by the departments of Religious and Cultural Affairs of the Turkestan region, Saryagash Madrasah College was presented with more than 300 books. In particular, 100 books were donated by the FARAB regional library, and another 100 by the Saryagash district library. Kazygurt and Kelessky districts provided 60 books, and libraries of Maktaaral and Zhetysai districts donated 100 books. 3 books were handed over from the chief imam of the region.
It should be noted that the event was organized on the initiative of Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev and as part of the instructions of the regional akimat. The purpose of the campaign is to raise the status of books, educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and love of work, instill national values, promote reading and popularize the works of Kazakhstani poets and writers, as well as attract readers to libraries and replenish book collections.
