At the initiative of the AMANAT party, a forum was held in Taldykorgan, bringing together all rural akims. The main purpose of the meeting was an open discussion of acute and topical issues that concern the rural population, as well as the search for ways to solve them.
The event was attended by First Deputy akim of the region Alibek Zhakanbayev and Deputy akim of the region Dias Esdauletov, head of the central office of the AMANAT party Madi Ospanov, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Bolat Kerimbek, heads of departments, as well as akims of 113 rural districts.
The first forum of this format became a platform for discussing the implementation of the party's election program, the socio-economic development of rural areas, the elections of rural mayors and key issues of their work.
Alibek Zhakanbayev stressed that ensuring socio-political stability and sustainable development is the main task of akims.
"We are confident that through joint and effective work we will be able to improve the well-being of our region, create comfortable living conditions for the population and dynamically develop the economy of the region," he said at the opening ceremony of the forum.
The head of the AMANAT party's staff, Madi Ospanov, in turn, focused on the importance of the responsibility of local executive bodies, stressing that the successful development of the institute of rural akims is a key element of the reforms being carried out in the country:
- Forums of rural akims are held in all regions of the country. I am convinced that the proposals, ideas and initiatives announced here will give a new impetus to the professional work and perseverance of the mayors elected from our party. Since the introduction of direct elections of rural akims by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the people make their choice every year. Since July 2021, elections of 113 rural mayors have been held in the Zhetisu region, of which 111 (98%) candidates nominated by the party won. This is a clear evidence of public confidence in our programs and initiatives," said Madi Ospanov.
The AMANAT Party pays special attention to the development of entrepreneurship and improvement of the economic situation in rural settlements. The forum discussed the successes achieved through the projects "Debt-free Society" and "Legal Aid", as well as the activities provided for in the Roadmap.
So, within the framework of the "Debt-free Society" project, a project office site was opened in the regional center, since February of this year 7,300 people have been trained in all districts and cities.
This year, it is planned to build more than 340 thousand square meters of housing in the region, of which more than 150 thousand square meters (43%) were commissioned in 8 months. By the end of the year, 4,117 houses are planned to be commissioned, which will reduce the housing queue by 14%. 91.1% are provided with centralized water supply in the region. 182 kilometers of regional roads and 54 kilometers of roads inside settlements were also repaired, and asphalting was completed on 117 kilometers of the road to Lake Balkhash.
The village akims noted the great importance of the forum.
- The people's trust in the party and the executive power directly depends on the fulfillment of election promises. Timely and high–quality implementation of these promises is our main task. Rural akims working in remote settlements always need methodological support. Thanks to today's meeting, I have acquired new skills for the systematic organization of my work," said Yermek Nurakhmetov, Akim of Ulkenagash rural district of Panfilov district.
Panel sessions were also organized within the framework of the forum. The akims listened to training lectures by experts in such areas as the implementation of the party's election program, the promotion of party projects, the prevention of corruption, the implementation of public procurement, the development of affordable state support mechanisms in the agro-industrial complex, business support and investment attraction, as well as work with the population and strengthening socio-political stability.
