A seminar on "Mechanisms of interaction with civil society institutions" was held in Astana, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan for employees of local executive bodies.
The participants stressed the importance of constructive dialogue and effective cooperation with civil society institutions, and also discussed key issues related to the financing of non-governmental organizations, the work and control of public councils, interaction with NGOs, as well as maintaining their database.
As a result of the seminar, practical recommendations were given to resolve the issues under discussion and consultations were held for further work.
