"GREEN BELT" IN TURKESTAN WORKS ON MAINTENANCE AND REPLENISHMENT OF TREES

In Turkestan region, as part of the Taza Kazakhstan program, autumn planting and cleaning works continue intensively. Today, a large-scale Subbotnik was held within the framework of the environmental event. The road in the direction of the airport was replenished with new seedlings, the repair of supports and the cleaning of wild grasses were carried out. A total of 240 hectares of land are planted with various tree seedlings. Among them are such types of seedlings as Gray Juniper, common juniper, Elm, Poplar, Ailanthus, Alder, Mulberry, almond.
"The event was attended by more than 3 thousand people from the Regional Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, the Regional Department of Agriculture and veterinary medicine and the institution "" Zhasyl AIMAG"", about 200 units of special equipment were involved."
– In accordance with the instructions of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the improvement and landscaping of the regions, it is customary to plant trees in the autumn and spring seasons in the region. The depth and location of the roots are under control. Taking into account the peculiarities of the weather, work is underway to create conditions for increasing the yield of trees. In order to improve the environmental situation in Turkestan, a green area was created around the city. To date, the" green belt " is constantly working on replenishment and maintenance, cleaning of the city's territory,-said Kairat Abdualiyev, head of the Department.
It should be noted that in accordance with the instructions of the governor of the region Darkhan Satybaldy, autumn planting work began in mid-November. These works will last until December 1. At the same time, 467 thousand seedlings are expected to be planted in the region in autumn this year.
