The Council of Veterans of the Karaganda region was headed by Gabit Tuyakov. The quantitative composition of the organization has also been updated. The IV plenum of the regional Council of Veterans was held in the region.
Today, the Veterans Council plays an important role: no one from the older generation should be left without attention and care, Chairman of the Central Council of the NGO "Organization of Veterans" Baktykozha Izmukhambetov believes.
– Today, the veteran organization is actively working in all regions. In 2019, the law on veterans was adopted, which was supplemented, and now new proposals are being collected to improve work. This law helps veterans resolve their issues. We have been implementing the program based on the mediation law for four years now. Thousands of cases have been resolved without trial. We have not only significantly relieved judges, but also improved people's relationships," says Baktykozha Izmukhambetov.
The plenum considered two key issues – the admission of new members to replace those who left and the selection of a new chairman of the regional council of veterans.
Gabit Tuyakov was elected chairman of the Karaganda Regional Council of Veterans by voting. Previously, he headed the Council of veterans of the city of Karaganda.
Akim of Karaganda region Ermagabet Bulekpayev congratulated the new chairman on his appointment. He noted that Gabit Tuyakov's experience and professionalism have always been aimed at the benefit of society.
– Gabit Shorinovich has held responsible positions in the civil service for many years. We are confident that under your leadership, the Veterans Council will continue its important work for the benefit of our society and the country as a whole. We will work together with you to achieve these goals," the head of the region said.
Gabit Tuyakov expressed gratitude for the trust and stressed that he would strive to continue the activities of the Veterans Council aimed at supporting the older generation.
For 13 years, the head of the Veterans Council of the region was Oraldy Toregozhin.
