Since the beginning of the year, 462 ethnic Kazakhs from Uzbekistan, Mongolia, China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan have arrived in Karaganda region, 197 families have received the status of "kandas".
Those who arrive in Kazakhstan can receive adaptation and integration services immediately after they officially receive a new status. They can count on assistance in registration of EDS, employment, attachment to organizations of preschool and general secondary education, as well as to medical organizations, provision of land, registration in a Digital family card, etc. There are more than 25 types of services in total.
Kandasov oversees the Labor Mobility Center, which sends lists to cities and districts so that they can be assisted at the local level.
The majority of ethnic Kazakhs come to the region to reunite with their families. They choose Temirtau, Karaganda, Saran, Shakhtinsk, as well as Abai, Bukhar-Zhyrau and Osakarovsky districts to live in.
It is worth noting that the Karaganda region is not included in the region for the reception of Candace for resettlement. Ethnic Kazakhs come independently, outside the quota.
Meanwhile, the Kandasov Adaptation and Integration Center is operating in Karaganda, providing legal and consulting services. The center is designed for 10 beds. The specialists working there provide support and assistance in applying for Kazakh citizenship, deal with education and health issues, assist in employment, and so on.
