Shakhty Quartet: a new exhibition at the Karaganda Museum of Art

The exhibition "Shakhty Quartet" will open in the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts on November 26 at 16:00. It will feature more than 50 works in the technique of painting, graphics, decorative and applied art by four artists. They were introduced and united by their work at the children's art school named after A. Ismailov.
Zhanabek Zhumabekov is a participant and prize—winner of republican and regional competitions and exhibitions of young artists, the author of ice sculptures and sculptures made of wood. He works in the portrait genre.
Elena Nividenskaya is a prize—winner of the "Best Designer" and "Master-ART" contests, a participant in republican exhibitions and fairs of decorative and applied art artists. The exhibition will feature her works made of felt. The artist creates paintings in the wool painting technique. He is also experimenting with modern trends in nunofelting. "Nuno" in Japanese means "fabric", and "felting" is a word of English origin, denotes the felting process. Only natural fabrics are used as the basis for paintings — silk, cotton, linen, etc.
Yersin Temirgaliyev is a multiple prize—winner and laureate of regional, republican and international art competitions, a member of the Union of Young Artists of the Karaganda Agricultural Academy, a member of the Eurasian Union of Designers. His works have been exhibited in museums in Kazakhstan and Latvia. He is interested in sculpture, painting, and graphics.
Natalia Saigusheva is a participant and prize–winner of regional competitions of artists and teachers of fine arts, republican and regional exhibitions. She paints mainly landscapes. The exhibition will feature graphic sheets made with ink, sauce, and pastels.
The exhibition will last until December 3.
