The first Student Assembly in the region has started working at Karaganda Industrial University. The initiative to open it became part of the implementation of the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan, announced at the XXXIII Session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, concerning comprehensive support for youth projects at all levels.
The opening of the assembly coincided with the holding of the youth forum of the APK of Karaganda region Saryarqa Jastary, which became an important stage in the implementation of this plan.
The first meeting with the activists of the new student organization was attended by Vice-rector of Karaganda Industrial University Galina Sivyakova, member of the APK Council Timur Dzhumurbaev, deputy chairman of the NGO "Assembly of Zhastars" Alexander Urmashov, activists of the NGO "Assembly of Zhastars" and others. The participants were joined by students and activists from all over the region interested in the development of youth initiatives.
In the format of a "brainstorming session", the participants discussed promising areas of activity of the youth wing of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The emphasis was placed on the implementation of applied projects that will contribute to the development of the Student Assembly as a platform for supporting talented young people.
Timur Dzhumurbayev, a member of the APK Council, stressed the importance of involving active student youth in the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the regional representative office of the NGO "Assembly of Zhastary". He noted that the creation of the Student Assembly is aimed at developing national values, studying the state language, as well as supporting youth projects of social importance and contributing to strengthening national unity.
Timur Dzhumurbayev presented the activists of the new association with certificates of the official opening of the Student Assembly at the Karaganda Industrial University.
