In the Karaganda region, the return of unused agricultural land to the state continues. The set plan for this year has been exceeded. In some cases, land users have started to develop land plots.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, since the beginning of the year, as a result of the work carried out in the region, 161,064 hectares of agricultural land have been returned to the state. The plan outlined by the Committee on Land Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been exceeded by 23.9%.
Employees of the Department of Land Management of the region carry out state control over the use and protection of land. According to the department, land users have started the development of 11.5 thousand hectares. The lease agreement for the illegally provided 4050 hectares was canceled, 12 thousand hectares were forcibly seized by a court decision. The courts are considering cases on another 6335 hectares.
"In addition, 94.3 thousand hectares were returned voluntarily, and 46.7 thousand hectares – due to the expiration of the lease agreement," the message says.
