The Kazakhstan Speed Skating Championship has ended in Astana. Of the 17 teams that took part, the national team of the Karaganda region became the third.
Such a result is an achievement for the pupils of the Karaganda school of winter Sports. The fact is that our skaters do not have a comfortable training base. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports is trying to solve this problem.
– But our coaches Nina Gernen and Dmitry Lazarev are real professionals in their field. Their students, no matter what, show such excellent results," says Gulnara Alikulova, head of the winter sports school.
Karaganda residents won medals not only in the team, but also in the individual competition. Alexander Berg became the champion of Kazakhstan in three distances at once, and also won another silver. Pavel Manakov took the second place. Yerasyl Bakhtiarula has the bronze.
