To date, more than 100 deposits of rare and rare earth metals have been identified in Kazakhstan.
Against the background of growing demand from high-tech sectors of the economy, as well as the geopolitical situation in the world, interest in the Kazakh industry of RM and REM has grown significantly.
On the EPN "minerals.gov.kz " 56,180 electronic reports on the geological and geophysical study of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been posted, which allow an interested person to get acquainted with the general part of the necessary report free of charge and online without physically visiting geological funds.
According to the results of geological exploration in 2024, deposits containing mineral reserves and resources such as gold, silver, copper, zinc, iron ores, lead, tungsten, chromium, molybdenum, manganese have been put on state registration.
Since the beginning of the year, a state examination of reports on the results of geological exploration has been carried out. For the first time, 12 deposits of solid minerals, 4 deposits of hydrocarbon raw materials were registered, and 6 groundwater deposits were also taken into account.
Among them: Dusembai Central, East Tastau, Coastal, Southern, Zhenishke, Baygora, Kostobe, Kazan-Chukur, Southern Karaul-Tobe, Udar, Kyzyltas-Kurchum and Sarybulak.
For the first time, hydrocarbon deposits were put on state registration: Karaturun Zapadny, Koshkar, Severny Shinzhir, Akkulovskoye Yuzhnoye.
As well as such groundwater deposits as Dolinnoye, Zhilandy, Bala-Urpek, Darbazinsky group water supply, Turgai Paleozoic and Korolevskoye.
