II INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "AQ ALTYN" STARTED IN TURKESTAN

The II International Conference of the Central Asian dairy Congress "Aq Altyn" has started its work in Turkestan. The international conference was attended by participants from India, China, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
Deputy akim of the region Nurbol Turashbekov took part in the first plenary session of the conference and reported on the indicators and opportunities of milk production in the region.
-As you know, due to the growth of the population in the world, the demand for high-quality food products is growing from year to year. In agriculture, the comprehensive development of the processing industry along with the primary sector has become an urgent problem. I am sure that today's conference will unite enterprises engaged in milk production and determine new directions for mutual cooperation, – said the deputy akim of the region.
The agro-industrial complex accounts for 20% of the gross regional product produced in the region. There are more than 80 thousand existing agricultural structures, which is 31% of the national indicator.
Currently, the number of livestock in two large dairy farms in the region exceeds 400 heads. They are: limited liability partners" Burte Milka "and" Sharkul food". This year, 2 more investment projects were implemented. The projects were equipped with Turkish automatic technological equipment" Sezer", Swedish" De-ieval". To date, 605 heads of female cattle of the Holstein breed have been obtained from the states of Denmark and Hungary. These projects produce an additional 12.6 thousand tons of milk per year.
In addition, in 2025-2026, it is planned to launch 3 commercial dairy farms for a total of 2,000 heads. Also, 32 dairy farms and 23 agricultural production cooperatives work fruitfully in this direction. About 410 thousand tons of milk are produced in the region per year. This is 12% of the national indicator.
The state has launched a program to subsidize the costs of processing enterprises for the purchase of agricultural products. 25 small, medium and large enterprises with a total capacity of 171 thousand tons are engaged in the processing of dairy products in the region.
The conference, which will last for two days, will discuss changes in the world market, the direction of development of milk production, and technology innovations will be presented.
