In his Message to the People of Kazakhstan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to increase investments in the regions. In this regard, significant work is underway in the Turkestan region. Since the beginning of the year, investments in the amount of 47.8 billion tenge have been attracted in Saryagash district, the plan has been implemented ahead of schedule. This was announced by akim of the district Arman Abdullayev at a briefing with media representatives.
"For 10 months of this year, 23.6 billion tenge worth of products were produced in the industrial sector, and by the end of the year it is planned to increase the figure to 32.4 billion tenge. Now the volume of production in the manufacturing industry has reached 15.7 billion tenge, but by the end of the year we plan to increase it to 23.6 billion tenge. In addition, the agricultural sector of the district produced products worth 112.3 billion tenge, for the remaining 2 months the volume of products in this area is planned to increase to 137.5 billion tenge," the speaker said.
A number of positive decisions have also been made and a lot of work has been done in the area of the district's infrastructure. Currently, construction and installation works on drinking water pipelines have been carried out in 4 settlements of the district, and by the end of the year, the regional and republican budgets will complete work on water supply to 11 settlements. In order to provide natural gas, construction works are currently underway in 4 settlements, design and estimate documents for connecting 10 more settlements to the natural gas system are being developed through the regional and republican budgets. Another important branch of the infrastructure industry is providing the population with high-quality electricity. In 2024, work was carried out in the district to install 75 electric poles with a total length of 6.2 km, transformers in the amount of 4 pieces. Also in 2024, under the Auyl–El Besigi program, repairs were carried out and the inner streets of the rural districts of Teguisshil, Akzhar, Zhetysu and Kyzylzhar were paved. In 2024, the average repair of 32 streets was carried out from the district budget, and work on laying rubble on 41 streets was completed.
