In Kazygurt district, for 10 months of 2024, the volume of gross regional product amounted to 96.4 billion tenge, which is 14.2% more than in the same period last year. Including in agriculture - 58.4 billion tenge, in construction - 9.3 billion tenge, in industry - 12.1 billion tenge, trade volume - 16.6 billion tenge. In addition, 36.2 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the district in 10 months of 2024. This was announced by Akim of the Kazygurt district Azizkhan Ismailov at a briefing with media representatives.
"In the Kazygurt district, 45 projects with an investment value of 55.1 billion tenge will be implemented in the period from 2024 to 2030, it is planned to provide employment for 1,364 people. In addition, 15 projects worth 30.8 billion tenge will be implemented in the industrial sector, 390 people will be employed. In the field of agriculture, it is planned to implement 18 projects worth 18.9 billion tenge, as a result of which 784 people will be employed. Today, in the village of Turbat, in order to increase the volume of agricultural and industrial products, it is planned to create an agroindustrial zone "Turbat" on an area of 60 hectares. Greenhouses worth 3.8 billion tenge will be built in this region and 416 people will be provided with jobs. In addition, this year livestock production amounted to 35.6 billion tenge, crop production - 22.8 billion tenge," the akim of the district said.
In addition, in order to develop tourism in the region in 2025-2030, it is planned to implement 6 projects totaling 3.3 billion tenge. If they are implemented, the potential of the tourist zone in the area will be increased, and the number of tourists will double. In addition, in 2024-2030, it is planned to implement 6 investment projects in the field of food and trade in the amount of 2.1 billion tenge in the district.
In terms of providing infrastructure, 59 out of 61 settlements in the district are provided with drinking water, the provision rate is 96.7%. Also, out of 61 settlements, 60 are covered by a centralized electric system, the figure is 98.4%. And out of 61 settlements, 49 are connected to centralized natural gas with a coverage rate of 80.3%.
