A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, at which the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex was discussed. Information was provided on current and planned projects in the field of agriculture, reports of responsible managers were heard. The akim of the region gave relevant instructions to the akims of districts and cities, the leadership of the Regional Department of Agriculture and the leadership of SEC Turkestan.
– We need fresh ideas and new projects. All akims of districts and cities should attract investments in agriculture, giving priority to deep processing of products. It is important to introduce water conservation technologies, use new methods and diversify the acreage. We need a clear plan and systematic work," said Darkhan Satybaldy.
The meeting heard reports from the head of the Regional Department of Agriculture Nurbek Badyrakov and other responsible persons. Data on attracting investments in various areas of the agro-industrial complex were provided.
For 10 months of 2024, 130 billion tenge was attracted to the fixed capital of the agro-industrial complex, which is 1.5 times more than in the same period last year. In the period from 2024 to 2030, it is planned to attract 556 billion tenge of investments in agriculture and implement 336 projects in the region, which will create over 12 thousand jobs.
Over the current 10 months, 30 projects have been implemented within the framework of the agro-industrial complex, as a result of which 237 jobs have been created.
The governor of the region stressed that the plans should not remain on paper, but should be clearly implemented. Akims of districts and cities were instructed to intensify work in this direction. The projects will be systematized and the relevant work will continue.
