Akim of Zhetysai district Serik Mamytov, who initiated the implementation of a number of projects in order to attract investment in the district and reduce the unemployment rate through the implementation of new projects, instructed the governor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybald to implement a number of projects in the Xinjiang province of China "Jin Taiyang Co. The head of the Company, Ltd, received Louis Kesonga and signed a memorandum on the implementation of an investment project worth 15 million US dollars (7.5 billion tenge).
Within the framework of this project, a foreign entrepreneur will build on the territory of the district a plant for the production of equipment and films for the implementation of drip irrigation methods necessary for the agricultural sector.
-The production of the necessary equipment for the widespread implementation of drip irrigation, which is very effective in saving tap water and improving the quality of products, will be useful both for farmers and for the economy of the district. In addition, many local residents will be provided with permanent jobs, and the price will be profitable, – the head of the district noted that the plant will support the infrastructure and, if necessary, to obtain loans through Tier II banks.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, 16 billion tenge of investment projects have been implemented for 31 billion tenge at the expense of private enterprises. It is planned to increase this figure to 40 billion tenge by the end of the year.
