Recycling of fuel production waste into the waste space

Currently, Kazzinc LLP is completing the construction of the Ridder boiler house with a capacity of 210 MW, which will burn about 140 thousand tons of coal annually. Due to the fact that the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan prohibits the placement of landfills of ash and slag waste within settlements, the issue of their disposal in the amount of up to 80 thousand tons has become acute.
The scientific staff of the laboratory of geotechnological processes of the branch of the RSE "NC KPMS RK" "Vniitsvetmet" has developed an environmentally safe technology for the disposal of ash and slag waste from the Ridder boiler house in the volume of 80 thousand tons per year in the laying of the developed spaces at the Ridder-Sokolny mine of the East Kazakhstan GOK. Regulations have been developed for the reconstruction project of the concrete-laying complex.
The developed technology for recycling boiler room waste into the worked-out space of the mine will not only ensure their environmentally safe disposal, but also make up for the shortage of inert aggregate during the production of laying works at the Ridder-Sokolny mine, reduce cement consumption.
