The metropolitan police continue to fight acts of vandalism and violators of public order. The next vandals who caused damage to other people's property were brought to justice, the official website of the Mayor's Office of Astana reports.
So, at about nine o'clock in the morning on November 22, a 30-year-old man damaged the back door of someone else's car. In the evening of the same day, an intoxicated 34-year-old resident broke the glass of the car door during a fight.
At night on November 26, a 22-year-old citizen deliberately threw iron at the glass of the bus stop, causing it to break.
All violators were found and brought to administrative responsibility under Article 147-1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since the beginning of the year, preventive work has been carried out in Astana as part of the Stop Vandal campaign, which was supported by volunteers, activists, famous athletes, and residents of the city.
The purpose of the action is to stop any manifestations of vandalism and preserve cleanliness and order in the capital.
Since the beginning of the year, the court has already punished about 300 people for intentional damage to other people's property, pollution of public areas, damage to buildings and residential premises. All of them were brought to justice.
Vandalism prevention is carried out in coordination with the City Prosecutor's Office and the Police Department.
