The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the grand opening of the exhibition "Kazakh onerinin kara shanyragy", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
The exposition included more than two thousand valuable materials from the collections of the National Library. Among them are rare books, periodicals, music collections, multimedia materials and souvenirs. The special attention of the guests was attracted by the manuscripts and musical editions provided by the scientific information library of the Conservatory.
The exhibition also featured exhibits from the Akhmet and Gaziza Zhubanov Memorial Museum – awards, medals, personal belongings and photographs, as well as Akhmet Zhubanov's dombra and Kuddys Kozhamiyarov's concert costume.
The event also included a presentation of the works of the faculty of the Kazakh National Conservatory.
