The loan agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank was signed on August 23, 2024.
The Asian Development Bank provides a loan in the amount of about 52.3 billion. Japanese yen on preferential terms, with a maturity of 15 years, including a 3-year grace period.
Servicing and repayment of the attracted loan will be carried out by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the expense of funds provided for in the republican budget for the next financial year in accordance with the financial terms of the Agreement.
These funds will help support the Government's priority measures, including financing transport infrastructure, industry, education and other priority areas.
