The first meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held in October 2024, during which the list of priority activities of the MMC was reviewed and approved.
The list consists of 10 sections:
Geology and geotechnics
mining
enrichment
metallurgy
digitalization and automation of technological processes
ecology
coal chemistry
energy industry
Occupational health and safety
research of new productions.
The Scientific and Technical Council (NTS) carries out activities aimed at the development and implementation of state policy in the field of science, technology and innovation, including the commercialization of scientific results. The main function of the NTS is to ensure transparency in the allocation of funds allocated by subsoil users to support scientific research and technology development, as well as review, coordination and control of the implementation of scientific and technical programs.
The Council develops recommendations on the application of research results, promotes cooperation with scientific, educational organizations and businesses to create joint high-tech industries and introduce innovations, providing an integrated approach to the development of regulated areas.
A regular meeting of the NTS is planned in the near future.
