Baibek Elikbay, a student of the 9th grade of M. Utemisuly Secondary School No. 52 of the Department of education of Saryagash district, built a model of a "smart robot" from available materials. An artificial device from the hands of a schoolboy is an indispensable tool for use in the daily life of people. The peculiarity is that even one device has several functions of operation. In addition to boiling water, listening to songs, a smart robot with a vacuum cleaner is made of affordable materials.
"Smart robot" won the prize in the project dedicated to identifying the owners of new ideas and interest in artificial intelligence among high school students. The device, born of the imagination and mind of a schoolboy, has the ability to carry out operations based on programs. A smart robot, known as a "mechanical assistant" of a person, not only picks up garbage and swallows dust. It seems that they are sorted and collected in parts. The robot, made up of simple things, is also able to perfectly cope with the task assigned to the program.
- Each person produces about a ton of waste every year. Including a lot of household waste. And the side of its processing is still unresolved. The environment is polluted and the ecology is also deteriorating. "Why isn't all the garbage recycled?"in order to find an answer to the question"", I designed a smart robot." I would like to add artificial intelligence to the sorting of garbage and contribute to the cleanliness of the environment, – says Baibek Elikbay.
Baibek was assisted in the development of the robot by his supervisor Nazgul Askarova. He spent a month and a half building a robot capable of moving along the road himself, picking up and collecting all the garbage around him. In addition, it can work with additional functions. In addition to increasing students ' interest in robotics, the robot also promotes clean nature among young people.
It should be noted that the "smart robot" of Baibek Elikbay was recognized as the best in the competition of the scientific project at the district stage and became a prize. Now the young inventor intends to defend his project at regional and national competitions.
