Students of the Gagarin School in Bukhar-Zhyrau district are now studying physics in a laboratory equipped according to modern standards. The necessary equipment was purchased at the expense of the regional budget.
The Gagarin School is located in the village of Botakara. There are 620 children studying in it in two shifts.
This year, the physics room was equipped with all kinds of sensors and measuring instruments, laboratory utensils and demonstration manuals.
Also this year, according to the program of modernization of schools according to modern standards, all desks and chairs were replaced in the educational institution, individual lockers for primary school students were bought.
Before the start of the school year, the school underwent major repairs: the walls and all bathrooms were renovated, doors and windows were replaced.
– We want our children to keep up with the times, the quality of knowledge is not inferior to urban schoolchildren. Investments in repairs, new furniture and equipment will undoubtedly contribute to improving the quality of the educational process," said Sagynysh Tuleukhanova, Director of the Gagarin OSH.
Last year, a modern STEM laboratory appeared at the school and a biology room was equipped, now it has all the necessary visual aids and demonstration samples.
Providing schools in the region with modern equipment and furniture is a systematic job. According to the Department of Education of the Karaganda region, kits for equipping chemistry, biology, physics, robotics and STEM laboratories are purchased on an annual basis.
