ANIMAL HUSBANDRY WILL BE DEVELOPED IN THE TURKESTAN REGION IN THE AUSTRALIAN WAY

Turkestan region ranks first in the republic in terms of meat exports. They intend to develop animal husbandry in the Australian way. This was announced by Governor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy during a press conference on the socio-economic development of the region at the site of the Central Communications Service.
"Turkestan region is a leader in meat exports. Our region accounts for 80 percent of cattle meat and 75 percent of mutton exports.
6.9 thousand tons of cattle meat and 4.7 thousand tons of mutton were exported. We plan to develop a meat cluster using the experience of Australia. It is planned to implement five projects: the construction of a modern livestock exchange, a fattening complex, deep and processing of meat products. 55 billion tenge has been invested in projects, 600 jobs have been created. The implementation of the projects will make it possible to produce 35 thousand tons of products," D. Satybaldy shared.
Two major projects have been implemented in the region - to increase the milk production of a commercial dairy farm and to strengthen the capacity of a processing enterprise (1209 heads). The cost of the projects is 7.8 billion tenge.
