THE NUMBER OF VILLAGES PROVIDED WITH DRINKING WATER, GAS AND ROADS HAS INCREASED IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

In the Turkestan region, the number of villages provided with drinking water, gas and roads has increased. This was announced by Governor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy during a press conference at the site of the Central Communications Service.
"One of our main tasks is to provide the villagers with the necessary infrastructure. A lot of work is being done in this direction," Darkhan Satybaldy said.
2 million 97 thousand inhabitants (737 settlements), or 97.9% of the population, are provided with high-quality drinking water. This year, 30 more settlements will be connected to new water pipes, and worn-out water systems will be updated in 13 settlements. As a result, the level of provision of drinking water to the population will reach 98.6%.
In two years, natural gas was delivered to the homes of 187 thousand residents (91 settlements). As a result, the total number of gas-supplied population reached 1 million 820 thousand people, or 84.9% (557 settlements). This year, 1,161 km of roads are being repaired. By the end of the year, 560 km will be put into operation. The share of roads in standard condition will reach 94%.
Large-scale work is underway on the reconstruction of the Kentau heat and power center. The object turned 90 years old (1934), it is 85% worn out. The reconstruction of four of the six boilers of the Kentau CHPP has been completed, they are operating normally. It is planned to modernize the remaining boilers. In addition, the current repair of two boiler rooms has been carried out. 6.6 km of main heat pipelines have been reconstructed. Currently, the temperature in heating systems is even higher than the established standard.
