Sungat Yessimkhanov met with residents of Karaganda region

Today, Vice Minister Sungat Yessimkhanov held a meeting with the population of the Karaganda region, during which he spoke about the current situation in the fuel and energy complex of the region.
During his speech, the Vice Minister highlighted the plans for gasification of the region.
To date, the gasification of the Karaganda region provides for the implementation of 24 launch complexes worth 80 billion tenge, which will further allow the gasification of 29,528 houses in Karaganda and 6,357 houses in Temirtau. Also, at the moment, technical specifications have been issued for 2,457 subscribers (Karaganda – 1,742, Temirtau - 715), 1823 subscribers have been connected to gas (Karaganda – 1,167, Temirtau - 656).
At the same time, funds in the amount of 11.1 billion tenge are provided for the further construction of gas networks for 2024. These are the construction of gas distribution networks in Karaganda from AGRS-"Karaganda" MG "SARY-ARKA", the construction of gas distribution networks in Temirtau from AGRS-"Temirtau" MG "SARY-ARKA" and the construction of a gas pipeline branch and AGRS "Shakhtinsk" with gas distribution networks in Shakhtinsk, Karaganda region."
As for the heat supply in the region, which is also relevant, as noted by Sungat Yessimkhanov, today the installed thermal capacity of the region's power plants is about 4416.3 Gcal/h, the available thermal capacity is 3220.2 Gcal/hour.
The major sources of heat supply in the region are Karaganda CHP-3 and CHP-2, the total installed capacity of which is more than 2,400 Gcal/h, and the available capacity is more than 1,800 Gcal/h, the average wear of CHP-3 is 69%, and CHP-2 is 72%.
In this regard, when forming the republican budget for 2025-2027 in the Karaganda region for 2025, funds in the amount of 8.6 billion tenge are provided for the implementation of 4 projects. These are repair works of heating networks in the city of Temirtau (along Stroiteley Avenue from Republic Avenue to the pumping station along Ushinsky Street and along Ushinsky Street, Mira Ave., from ave. Builders to TK18 (Mira Ave.-ave. Metallurgists) and in the city of Karaganda, the reconstruction of the Connecting heating main, stage 1 from CHP-3 to the Central Heat Distribution point 1.
Also, the Vice Minister noted that in the Karaganda region there are 8 operating renewable energy facilities with a total capacity of 272.5 MW, including 6 solar power plants with a capacity of 270.8 MW, 1 bioelectric power plant with a capacity of 1.1 MW and a hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 0.6 MW, and it is also planned to implement a large-scale 500 MW WPP project with an energy storage system.
After the report, the Vice Minister held a personal reception for citizens, within which residents were able to receive detailed and complete answers to their questions.
